James Todd, Director, QSHE
A highly regarded Senior Health and Safety Professional, James brings extensive operational experience in the oil and gas resource sector, specifically oil refining, steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) and contractor safety management.
He has overseen and led the development and implementation of safe work procedures and practices and compiled and reported statistics to the business units, clients and corporate offices. In addition, James has conducted various training sessions, audits, incident investigations, hazard assessments and claims management.
James has managed direct field labour forces ranging up to 3000employees and worked on both industrial facilities and commercial projects. The industrial projects have included operating petroleum processing facilities (conventional, completions, drilling, refineries & SAGD) and various “green field”/new construction projects from site development/earthworks, pipeline (over 600 km of piping installation) to commissioning and startup.
James holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (CSU) and is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) 14-5404 and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) 30107.
